Sunday Services: 11:03am
Prayer Service in the Four Corners / Davenport / Disney area rally together in petition for their church sister’s battle with cancer.

This morning, we had such an outpouring of love and worship for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It was so incredible and beautiful to witness. We took a moment pause in our study of 1 John to focus in on prayer this morning.
Pastor Tony, through scripture, showed us who God is and why He is worthy of our prayers. He also explained who we are and why prayer sanctifies us further in our worship of our Lord. Pastor Tony also used the teaching of Jesus to explain how we should worship in prayer through Matthew 6:9–13.
“ Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from the evil one.
Amen.”-Matthew 6:9–13

The congregation was then lead to pray for our sister in Christ who is in a recent and sudden fight with cancer. Heather was having stomach pains about 3 weeks ago. She then went in to discover her gallbladder needed to be removed. The surgery was a success, but there was a discovery of cancer in the gallbladder and her GI tract. The weeks following the surgery, Heather’s body took a turn for the worse and her GI tract seemed to stop draining completely. This shot her bilirubin numbers into the 20’s making her extremely and dangerously jaundice. A normal jaundice level is between 1 & 5.
Heather underwent several surgeries trying to place a stent in her tract to manually drain to lower her bilirubin numbers. There were several complications making it impossible to move forward on treating the discovered cancer.
Heather was then moved to a larger hospital where cancer is now the forefront of care. She will now see specialists for her condition and receive a more specialized care plan.
As a congregation, we joined together in prayer over Heather. While Heather is in the hospital, we took the time to pray over her husband and our deacon, Ned Brown.

We were also given an intimate space and time to pray over one another in our own situations. We also prayed as a church to be receptive on how to come alongside one another in our time of prayer.
This morning was beautiful. We had several visitors and we hope that while our setup and format was so different this morning, our love and worship for a Sovereign God was on full display. Even the kiddo’s were in rare form of reverence this morning. We were a family this morning and it blessed our hearts to be a part of it.

Thank you church for your love of the Father. Coming and worshipping together and being supportive of one another is what our church is known for. To love one another and be willing to do gospel-centered life in a fallen and broken world.
From Ned Brown: I hope this service becomes a catalyst for a beacon of what the church should be in the Four Corners area. It was beautiful to see.
